BICENTENNIAL PARADE & FUNFEST

Schedule of Events

 

·        10 am to 4 pm:  Funfest at the Hague Town Park - Rte 9N

 

Cambridge Band Live Concert 12:30 p.m. & DJ Music all day by Steve Pelkey WOKO Radio Personality

Crafters, Flowering Plants, Bicentennial Souvenirs, White Elephants

Kids’ Games, Face Painting, Dunking Booth, “Ready-to-Go Dog Show”

Food Concessions by local organizations – Hoagies, Hot Dogs, Burgers Soft Drinks, Baked Goods, and More

 

·        2 pm:  Parade  Rte 8 to Hague Town Park on 9N

Ticonderoga Fife & Drum, Cambridge Band, Galloway Gaelic Pipes and Drums, Peru Indians, Schroon Lake, W. Rutland School Bands

Hague Floats and Marching Units, Classic Cars, Clowns, Shriners,

Tarry Ho Miniature Horses from Vermont, Revolutionary Reenactors

Ticonderoga Flying Leathernecks Marines Color Guard

Prizes for Best in Parade, Most Creative, Most Patriotic, and Best Bicentennial Theme

 

·        3:30 pm:  Memorial Dedication Service - Rifle Salute, Drum Rolls, Taps

 

·        4-8 pm: HVFD’s Old Fashioned Chicken BBQ - Route 8
