Site Plan Reviews
Site Plan Reviews are required whenever the proposed development is beyond the authorization of the Zoning Enforcement Officer to approve. The conditions requiring Site Plan Reviews are described in the Town Zoning Code (Chapter 160). In general the process is summarized as follows.
- An Application for Land Use Development and Site Plan Review is submitted to the Zoning Enforcement Officer.
- The applicant meets with the Planning Board to assure the application is complete and to discuss issues pertaining to application.
- A site visit is conducted.
- At a second meeting of the Planning Board, a public hearing is held and a decision is rendered by the Zoning Board of Appeals.
In unusual situations, this process may vary.
