Dog Licenses

NYS Law requires that all dogs older than 4 months must be licensed in the Town, City or Village where the dog is harbored for a duration of 30 days or more.

Dogs must be registered at the Town Clerk's office.

Every dog is assigned a permanent official ID number and issued a metal ID tag, which must be attached to the dog's collar.

Please provide the following documentation:

1. If applicable, a Spay/Neuter Certificate from a licensed veterinarian.

2. Rabies Vaccination signed by a licensed veterinarian.

3. Check or money order payable to the Town of Hague, Town Clerk for the appropriate license fee:

$4.00 if spayed/neutered

$12.00 if unaltered

Dog licenses are valid for one year.  Renewal letters will be mailed annually.
